Sultan center in trouble!
On a more serious note, one of the guys yesterday just told me of a dangerous incident they had with sultan center. It started yesterday, where legleg went there to buy some sweets, a celebration of his wife traveling, anyways he ended up buying a bag of “Life Savers” seen in the picture. He went to the dewania and shared his bag with Bola66af who checked on the expiry date and noticed that it’s been expired for the past few weeks. Disappointed with the service, he went to the branch m
anager and explained his story, all that he got in return was a fruit basket which of course he refused. Legleg explained how the situation was unexceptionable and a fruit basket was not enough, meanwhile the situation is currently being investigated by the administration, and currently we are waiting for their reply.

I think that this is an isolated incident, usually Sultan is clean and products are fresh, I don’t think that this is the norm.

NOPE !!! ” IT’S NOT ISOLATED INCIDENT ”
Dana, I agree in a point, but 3 incidents in less than a week it’s too much! Think about it ? will you give a member of your family ( lets say kids ) expired product like chocolates or sweets ? defiantly, you will say ” NO “.
Back again to the main incident. Yeah , they have to be punished !! Because they didn’t act right , neither checked there products regularly.
Take care

As it is TSC and its American Procurement Arm is being investigated by the GoP, US Army (DoD), The Auditor General of Supplies to Iraq (US Govt) for gross misrepresentation of facts, sourcing food from banned / blacklisted food suppliers and over charging the United States Army and MNF-I (Multi National Forces – Iraq) for the United States Prime Vendor (food supply) $14B contract with PWC – which in turn owns Sultan Centre!! (Google it – you shall find an article in the WSJ on the same).
Please exercise caution for the sake of your loved ones while purchasing FMCG items from TSC. (No offense TSC- you guys were good at one point… just slipped lotsa notches now)!

This unacceptable, TSC in lebanon is getting rid of all the christians employees in the sociaty, and by all the necessary ways, there’s a list comes out from the administration and it has to be clean by the end of the day, anyway all the people knew about it, and that’s why u wont be seeing a person purchasing a lettuce, and in lebanon your business is a massive failure gentlemen.

This sound strange.
Come to TSC in Kuwait and most of the workers are Christians ..

well i know that TSC isn’t what it use to be…a couple of month back al-watan news paper here in Kuwait explained the fact the they are selling none hala (none Islamic) meats of all kinda….
many of their exported foods do contain substances which are thought to be illegal to sell in Kuwait, a Muslim country. Unfortunately i recently did my final project in university (which i got a full grade on) and discovered that hardly anyone checks on both the date or the ingredients of the products as they have learn t to trust TSC with the quality control…
i do talked a lot about this situation…over 40 pages i think. And in conclusion many loyal customers have converted to other competitors such as carre four and local co-ops!
all i can say is that any time this subject is brought up during a conversation i tend to strongly emphasis a boycott, or simply buy your stuff from some where else!
