Sultan center STRICK 3!
Here’s the story…Two days ago i talked about one of the dewania members situation with sultan center selling expired food. Its official that the dewania will boycott sultan center for there bad services. This is what happened when bola6af ( a member of the dewania) went to talk to the management.
When Mohammad (bola6af) went to contact sultan center’s management at Salwa branch, he got a shocking welcoming from their staff who goes by the name Aala. He was shocked to see what our member has brought to him, an out of date sweets. The managers response was simple “oh we will exchange the product for another one”. Keep in mind that the product only costs 85fils.
Frustrated with the response, Mohammad asked for higher management! during this time Bola6af went to see the rest of the sweets (of the same package) and found 7 boxes that where all expired…At 3:15 am (a few minutes into Athan Al Fajer) he demanded for higher management and got a call from Naib il Modeer (Assistant manager).
When bola6af went to pay for the 7 boxes, the manger demanded the cashier not to ring-up the items! after a brawl went for a couple more minutes, the manager asked bola6af to come back today (Sunday 13th). The only reason he left was to go pray.
Anyways, after contacting them today he got the same response from another response…this is the good part. Bola6af got a call from another manager who said that he found our site online and demanded us to remove this article as its illegal! He said we have already contacted a lawyer (tawkeel mo7amy) and he is taking it serious. During this conversation bola6af went to sultan center Salwa and looked at their products and guess what he found! ANOTHER OUT OF DATE PRODUCT!!! don’t believe us…look for yourself…
You know what the response of the Dewania is fix your service! Have you heard of the customers rights, and have you heard of the “customer is always right”. This is just the begging of the boycott, we are a large family and one bad word can stroll like fire in a hair stack!
looks like this wasn’t the first time it happened with sultan center…look what found while searching sultan center on Google!

Oh my god, that is unbelievable! I never heard of something called “ILLEGAL” article on the internet on something based on a real story. Also, I didn’t really like the way the managers respond. it seems all they care about is the name of there company rather than the health of the customers.
I used to buy so many stuff from sultan center before ! but the question now, ” will I go back again? “or will it be the good time to inform the newspapers about it?.
Can not wait till I get back home and hear about the updates

don’t worry mate its going to be taken very seriously…if nothing is done by tomorrow we will contact 4 newspapers that are already good friends with us! like i said we are currently boycotting sultan center…meaning we’re not going to buy anything from them..so spread the word of their bad service!

i have bought for the last three years more than 1300 Kd per year, know i have to decide not to buy any more from sultan centre, thanks dewania group for this informations, hope sultan centre managers take action on this mess

You guys should consider taking it very seriously, like suing them or something. I know you wouldn’t be ending up with a million Dinar in your pocket, but atleast you took an action. I agree with you hanooy you should call the press and have them right an article about that mess, it may effect their reputation :}

Yahhhhhhh…
We need to take is seriously… Lets kick some a**.
From my side bohanwa, I have a very near friend of mine that works in one of the biggest new papers in Kuwait and he is welling to help us with this if needed.
And you, sultan center wait for the detain to kick your A**, we stands for the standards and the for the people rights of experiencing there problem with the wrong things happened on the web. There is nothing called “ILLEGAL“ in Kuwait. This is not the way to treat people (customers) especially Dewania members, because we do not treat the animals the way your. If you did something wrong just say it do not be afraid, but do not defend it, always stay on the clear side, customer will respect you.
I think an English article should published in the Kuwaitis English newspapers

again guys thanks for the support…we’re taking this serious! im going to try and contact one of the newspapers, particularly the English ones as they have a lot of foreign readers…and reading some news like this will mean an even bigger problem that sultan center could face!
if that doesn’t work i have plans of spreading the word of mouth, like they say bad news is good news! the word will go around in forums, blogs, internet magazines, and articles, newspapers as well as universities such as KUNIV, GUST and AUK…
then we will see if they will do the same mistake again!

Simply absurd! Coming from a private entity such as Sultan Center is a joke. Being one of the largest conglomerate establishment with a vast history and name brand domestically, it is pathetic! There should be hefty fines imposed on store selling outdated products by the ministry or any other government body. Such products as pictured above are being consumed by kids and as we know kids are prone to food poisoning much easier than adults.
I guess ruining their image is wrath they seem to deserve. They’ve certainly earned it!

all im waiting for is the go to spread the word. Right now im waiting till we get sultan center’s final decision, to either admit to their mistake or threat us for the THIRD TIME!!!

The Suyltan Centre standards are the LOWEST of the low.
They care about PROFITS. ITS IN THEIR BLOOD. They do not care about human beings and the expired goods are brushed aside.
Their food smells as rotten and I had to throw it out the other day.
Sultan Centre takes ages to get back and DELBERATELY will not respond to customer complaints.
The whole management is useless and brainless twats who cannot run an efficient operation.
They hire cheap labour to get thigs done on the cheap. This explaints their cheap hollow mentality.
